Three people escaped a house fire Wednesday morning in Martin.
According to one of the occupants, the fire at the Davis Street home started between 7:30 and 8:00 Wednesday morning.
The occupants were sleeping when they heard the smoke alarms, and managed to escaped without injury.
Martin Fire Department Assistant Chief David Blake says the fire was contained to the kitchen and attic, with smoke damage throughout the house.
The fire is still under investigation at this time.
